Since opening Night Shift Brewing in Everett, Mass. in 2012, founders Rob Burns, Mike O’Mara and Michael Oxton have shared their love and joy of brewing with passionate craft beers lovers. This trio of friends shared a passion for homebrewing and through culinary inspiration and determined innovation, now create some very memorable craft beers that offer a wide array of unique, complex flavors. Great beer has led to great success and Night Shift Brewing recently unveiled a sprawling brewery and taproom in Boston proper. On March 20, Night Shift opened its new Love Joy Wharf facility with12,000 square feet of brewing, kitchen, taproom, and cafe space. Mediterranean cuisine is the foods and methods of preparation by people of the Mediterranean Basin region. The idea of a Mediterranean cuisine originates with definition the three core elements of the cuisine as the olive, wheat, and the grape, yielding olive oil, bread and pasta, and wine. The region spans a wide variety of cultures however, the historical connections of the region, as well as the impact of the Mediterranean Sea on the region’s climate and economy, mean that these cuisines share many dishes such as roast lamb or mutton, meat stews with vegetables and tomato (for example, Spanish andrajos and Italian ciambotta), and the salted cured fish roe, bottarga, found across the region.
