Every experience at The Barn has been a wonderful one. My husband and I got married at The Barn at Wight Farm this past weekend in the Winthrop Room and it was the most perfect day. From start to finish, communication with the entire team was on point, the rehearsal dinner was incredible, the bridal suite the day of was the perfect place for me and my ladies to get ready, and the entire staff were absolute angels! Attended a beautiful baby shower at this location. The venue is gorgeous with cobblestone walkways and open spaces for hosting. The brunch buffet was delicious as well as the mocktails.

My husband and I just got married here and can’t say enough great things! We had a winter wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. Staff was helpful the whole way and the venue itself is very reasonably priced especially in the off season. Food and drinks were great!

Photographing a wedding at The Barn at Wight Farm was a genuinely smooth and enjoyable experience. From a photography perspective, the space lends itself beautifully to natural light for most of the day, which makes capturing authentic, soft moments feel effortless. As the evening transitions, a bit of flash complements the environment nicely, but overall the venue itself already does so much of the visual work. It’s the kind of space where beautiful images happen naturally without needing to force anything. What stood out just as much as the space was the staff. They were incredibly supportive throughout the day, consistently attentive to the timeline, and intentional about keeping transitions between moments feeling seamless. Beyond logistics, they were also deeply considerate of the couple — checking in on them, offering refreshments, and making sure they felt comfortable and cared for. That level of attentiveness creates a calmer atmosphere, and it truly shows in the way the day unfolds. For couples who want a venue that feels warm, well-run, and visually beautiful without feeling complicated, The Barn at Wight Farm is a wonderful choice.

Enjoyed the wedding we attended there. It is cool how there are separate buildings all connected by pretty cobblestone. Three items of concern (none major). 1) neither of the buildings we entered had an entryway. On a winter day, this is helpful to gather yourself before entering the event space. Also meant that in a cold winter day, everyone entering the wedding space let in cold air to everyone. 2) no changing tables in the men’s room, just in women’s room. This is something I’ve noticed elsewhere but hope to see change in the future! 3) this is minor but I could hear traffic on the main road during the ceremony — it was likely from a loud truck but just thought I’d mention. Really beautiful venue and service was incredible!

My husband and I got married here in August 2025. We truly cannot say enough amazing things about The Barn! Danielle, our wedding coordinator made everything SO easy. The communication was seamless from start to finish. Wedding planning can be extremely stressful but Danielle relieved it all! Our wedding was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined because of Danielle, the service staff, the chefs, and the incredible space itself! Months later, we still have guests reaching out about how amazing the food was! Many said the beef was the BEST they had ever had. We are SO happy we chose The Barn for our wedding. It was the best day of our lives. We are looking forward to holding our baby shower there next year. Highly recommended!

 Got married at the Barn on 10.25.25 and it was truly such a magical day!! The staff at the barn were truly amazing! I worked with Danielle the sales manager from the beginning when we first found this venue up until the end. She always answered my emails promptly and got back to me right away with any questions that I had. On the day of my wedding, I was paired with Alyssa who was my bridal attendant for the day, she was simply amazing! She helped set up the decor and came down to the bridal suite at 8 AM to answer any questions I had, helped with my dress and waited on me from start to finish. All our guests raved about how amazing the venue and food was. I can’t have pictured getting married anywhere else!

The Barn hosted the luncheon after my father's funeral. The service was wonderful. It's a beautiful setting. Everyone was impressed with the food.

Had my wedding here in June of 2025. The place is beautiful! Staff was very friendly. If you plan to have a wedding here I would stay away from the company Yours Truly Media on their vendor list. This company did my husband and I wrong. I was supposed to have two photographers and two videographers but only one of each showed up. The photogrpaher showed up an hour late which pushed the timeline off so I was not able to get all the photos I wanted. This company would not compensate us money wise besides give us raw footage and raw photos which is not a deal considering how much money we spent.

From the drinks, food, set up, help whenever needed, and support, the venue was a dream. We would get married here a million times over

We had our wedding at The Barn at Wight Farm and I honestly can’t say enough good things. The whole experience, from planning to the day-of, was incredible. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with the most beautiful rustic charm that made everything feel so cozy and magical. Working with the team over the past year was seamless. They were so responsive, helpful, and kind. I’m pretty sure we exchanged over 100 emails, and every single time they made me feel supported and taken care of. The bridal suite was beautiful, spacious, and the perfect place to get ready. They even brought us snacks and champagne, which really added to the experience and helped us start the day feeling relaxed and celebrated. Our wedding day was more perfect than we could have imagined. Everything ran so smoothly and the staff went above and beyond to make it stress-free and joyful. Paul, my bridal attendant, was AMAZING. He saved me snacks from cocktail hour and had a drink ready the second the ceremony ended. Every little detail was thought of. And the food! So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had. The cocktail hour apps were a huge hit, and my butternut squash ravioli was unbelievably delicious. It truly was the wedding of my dreams, and I’m so grateful to everyone at the Barn for making it happen. I’ll be recommending this venue to everyone I know.

The Barn at Wight Farm is such an amazing venue for any event. My wife and I got married here back in March and everything about this place made our wedding perfect! The staff was all very friendly and helpful, and set everything up for us, so we didn’t have to stress about decor on our wedding day. The food was delicious, and even better than it was at our tasting! Drinks tasted great, and everyone at our wedding had a great time and won’t stop raving about The Barn ever since, so we could not recommend this place enough! Thank you to the staff for making our wedding weekend even more perfect than we could have imagined!

Beautiful location. Rented the Alpheaus room for two days of business meetings.Danielle was extremely flexible and helpful in arranging the events.The food was really delicious and so much of it! Day one Colton was our server and he was so helpful not only with the food but helping with av issues and making sure room was perfect.The only less positive feedback I have is that the chairs were extremely uncomfortable. They were small folding chairs that might work OK for weddings but all day business meetings not so much. We all felt a bit of pain from the chairs by the end of the day.Seriously wonderful option for events in the Sturbridge area!

Had our wedding there this last weekend. Great prices, amazing food, and the staff was absolutely incredible--they worked so hard to make sure we had a wonderful day, and we couldn't have done it without them. Not only helpful on the day, but every step of the way in our planning process. We can't thank them enough for all their effort and hard work to make sure it was exactly the day we envisioned and that we took time to enjoy it. We discovered this venue through Zola and fell in love with it immediately from the very first look online. Right away, we knew it felt like the perfect place for our wedding day! We scheduled a tour on January 29, 2023, and brought our parents along because we wanted to see if they liked it as much as we did. Seeing the venue in person, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding. Moira showed us every detail of the property, including the Barn and the Winthrop Room (the two reception spaces), the Alpheus Room (indoor ceremony space), the patio, and the beautiful lawn where we could take family, wedding party, and bride-and-groom photos. By the end of the tour, we knew this was the one, and we officially booked our wedding for October 26, 2024. Throughout the planning process, the venue staff’s professionalism and experience stood out. Moira was able to answer any and all questions we had about any aspect of the wedding from the dimensions of the arbor in the Alpheus room to special meal accommodations for a guest. Also, we initially planned our ceremony for 5 PM but realized that with our late-October date, we wouldn’t have enough daylight for formal photos after the ceremony. We talked to Moira, and we were able to adjust the timeline, pushing the ceremony earlier so we could capture outdoor photos before sunset. On the big day, everything exceeded our expectations! The food was a highlight, with our guests raving about all of the food, which included filet of beef, grilled salmon, vegetable lasagna, and chicken tenders for all the kids (or kids at heart). The venue also ensured that we had some food to eat during the photo session during cocktail hour to make sure that we were happy and not hangry while taking pictures! Because of the earlier ceremony time, we were able to utilize the gazebo on the property for some formal photos and a first look with Kayla and her dad before the ceremony. During the cocktail hour, we took the remaining photos out on the lawn with the stunning fall colors as a backdrop. Overall, The Barn at Wight Farm supported us in every way and did everything necessary to give us the wedding of our dreams. We can’t recommend it more!

Recently had a small bridal shower in the Alpheus Room. From start to finish this venue was great to work with. They are reasonably priced, the space is gorgeous (including the grounds), the food and drinks are delicious, and staff is amazingly helpful! You won’t regret choosing this venue.
