New Fall MenusIt’s hard to believe that summer is over and we are now feeling the crisp air of autumn and enjoying the smell of a crackling fire. As seasons go, autumn in New England is a special time and one that is ripe with opportunities to enjoy the bounties of a late summer harvest. The Chefs at Table 3 Restaurant Group have been busy crafting some new selections for fall and we’d love for you to come in for a great taste of fall. On Thursday, October 18 Cedar Street Grille, The Duck, and Avellino will have their new fall menus in place. So stop by and taste for yourself all the great flavors the season has to offer.

African Cuisine

Maghreb cuisine comes from the northwesternmost part of Africa along the Mediterranean Sea, consisting of the countries of Algeria, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia. The region’s diversity influences its cuisine and culinary style. The most common staple foods are wheat based khubz bread and couscous, seafood, goat, lamb, beef, dates, almonds, olives and various vegetables and fruits. Dishes contain flavors such as cumin, ginger, paprika, cinnamon, saffron, fresh peppermint, parsley, coriander or chili pastes like harissa. Dishes like tagine, socca, and harissa beef come from wonderful spice blends with a depth of flavor that can only found inthis regional cooking style.
